INDUSTRIAL - CONSTRUCTION - PHOTOGRAPHER

Photographs are often the first thing you look at when you view a website or open a brochure, and first impressions are important. Professional industrial photography is a combination of creativity, technical skill and experience. We have over eight years experience of providing a calm, professional service, and always strive to exceed our client's expectations.

Traditional industries, such as those within the railway, construction, manufacturing and chemical sectors, can benefit hugely from creative and professional image-based marketing. From trade magazines to press releases, commissioning a professional industrial and construction photographer means your website, annual report or advertising material shows your customer straight away that you mean business. Industrial photographer Doug Jackson has full comprehensive liability insurance and holds a Railway PTS card for the Network Rail infrastructure.

Industrial and construction photography encompasses the broad range of photography, in any organisation, that undertakes commercial production and sale of goods or services. Our expertise in technical photography means we can provide superb photographs of your company’s operations, products, staff and services, working directly from your brief. By establishing a clear understanding of the process, operation or product, we can create images that really tell the story.

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHER
Even in today's world of 3D CAD modelling and virtual reality, architectural photography is still a valuable and cost-effective resource. Some architectural practices still say that despite the advances in software, you can only really capture the spirit of a building, and the quality of the internal light, with photography.

Doug Jackson Photography provides a comprehensive architectural photography service, shooting exteriors, interiors, time-lapse and panoramas. A typical day shoot would cover exterior and interior shots, as well as any signature lighting schemes. Some buildings photograph better at dusk or dawn, whereas others work best in daylight. Some may be best photographed while empty, while others may require a more 'real' feel with users in-situ. All these aspects are discussed and considered at the briefing stage; understanding a client's needs is the first step to satisfying them.

Utilising all the latest digital photographic and lighting equipment, we provide first-class images that tell the story of your building, from important elevations to the smallest design details. As with all aspects of our business, we pride ourselves on being good communicators, working flexibly and matching our work to your deadlines.

Whatever your practice specialises in, aesthetics will always be a primary concern. However, trying to capture the essence of a building with digital photography is not only a case of understanding its form, but also its function.
